Born in 1976 in the small town of Aliwal North, Nicolette Jonas has always had the passion and desire to turn the ordinary into something different and creative.
Nicolette began her career working at Laura Ashley in Windsor, London after graduating in 1997 from Pretoria Technicon as the top student for three consecutive years with a Diploma in food, Clothing and Textiles. In 1998 she returned to South Africa and founded Interior Concepts.
Her first commission was the beautiful Summerwood Guesthouse in Stellenbosch, and from there she changed the interiors of a number of boutique Guesthouses which included Beauclair, Labri Manor, Majeka House, La Riviera Guesthouse.
Being renowned for an ever- evolving style is underpinned by a subtle coordinated fusion of East meets West , clean lines and neutral tones, blended with charming warmth and luxurious opulence. She puts her stamp on the homes of private clients all over South Africa.
Interior Concepts was honoured with an highly commended for interior design in 2015 by the African Property Awards held in Dubai
